I missed you.

My dearest companion.

*CAW!*

Ah, apologies, that was my raven Crowley getting jealous. Please, Crowley. We talked about this. You're more than just a companion.

*caw*

Thank you.

Ahem. While some moons have passed since I last wrote to you, I confess I have not been able to keep you out of my mind. When I study the cosmic patterns, the stars shimmer in the same manner as your eyes. My blade grows dull without your touch.

From what I understand, you do not practice witchcraft, and yet you have me dazed and fixated, as if in some kind of love spell. If so, I'm glad. Maybe you can teach it to me. I'd only cast it on you, though.
Of all the bladefolk I know, perhaps I am the least likely to be "on the line", as they say. Or is it "on a line"? I think it involves computers? Victoria is nodding (thank you to her, by the way, for this transcription), but unfortunately, I don't like to touch machines, especially those that are newly manufactured. It is a misuse of geometry, which can be so sacred, to employ a factory and create something so profane, without the resonance of a living spirit.

I don't really know what "social media" she's referring to either, but maybe she means another letter, sent in the mail? Or a postcard, perhaps? If so, simply address it to "The Mansion by Lover's Peak". It will find its way home.

To me, we do not need the digital to be linked. I feel you in my heart, my mind, and in my spirit. How could I want more? And yet I crave.

Demos and Outfits.

Much of the time spent on Boyfriend Dungeon over the past month has focused on various content and dungeon improvements, though the programmer Marcelo has worked on a new demo. Maybe you will see it around, eventually. It's secret for now, like everything powerful, I suppose.

And while I cannot show you all of the special outfits the team has created, Crowley did see a dungeoneer running around in a fox kigurumi that you'll be able to use. Do not tell anyone on the team it was Crowley's fault you saw it though... he's sensitive.

IGN & Guerrilla Collective.

If the planets align and you find the time to have your gaze fall upon certain events, I predict it will be a pleasing experience.

Specifically, my star chart (and Victoria) recommends you tune into your digital devices at these times:
  • June 12: Lucifer Within Us @ IGN Summer of Gaming
  • June 13: Boyfriend Dungeon @ Guerrilla Collective
  • June 13: Dwarf Fortress @ Guerrilla Collective
  • June 15: Boyfriend Dungeon @ IGN Summer of Gaming
  • June 15, ~9:30am PT: Boyfriend Dungeon interview @ Guerrilla Collective

The anticipation is intoxicating... I do hope you enjoy the performances and revealed knowledge.

Until the next moon.

I must go back to the herb garden now, as they need more frequent watering as the days grow warmer. I must admit the sun does not bring me great pleasure, but I appreciate the life it brings to my plants, both domestic and wild, growing on the mountain. It makes experimenting with potions much easier, to have such lush ingredients. They then grow ever thirstier for the moonlight.

What is your favourite kind of weather? Please, tell me. I could envision you in any weather, stunning, magnetic, even if it were sleeting. I enjoy a foggy morning, but my absolute favourite is a stormy night... the raw power of the elements is humbling, to feel the rolling thunder in your bones. And, if you're ever frightened, you may always find solace in my arms. We're stronger, together.
Keep my heart safe until then. It is yours to protect.

With adoration,
Rowan.
